Volunteer
Conservation
Volunteering on a
conservation project during your gap year, is a great
way to do something that makes a difference, while
spending time in an exotic location.
Projects vary from
working with the Big Five on an African game reserve
to monitoring sea turtles in mexico.
Generally volunteers
are not required to have any previous conservation
experience and many of the skills & techniques
are learned on the job.
Conservation volunteers may have to
cope in remote and challenging environments and should
therefore have a real interest in the project and
a high degree of self-reliance. |
