Gap Year Expeditions:
If you are looking for an
adventure during your gap year, then an expedition abroad
is for you.
There are many gap year expeditions provided throughout the
world in a variety of different habitats.
From South America to Africa, you can venture up high altitude
mountain ranges, explore virgin jungle rainforests and trek
across the vast desert wilderness.
Gap year expeditions are often combined with various other
projects such as conservation or aid projects, which enable
you to give something back to your host community.
Generally, previous experience is not required and organisations
provide you with pre-expedition training.
However expeditions will be both mentally & physically
exhausting and you will need be reasonably fit and use your
initiative to complete the expedition.
