Organisation Summary:
Every year our teams head off to South and Central America, Africa and Asia to join a Venture where they take on the local language, live the culture, volunteer on an aid project and meet the challenge of a trans-continental expedition. These "hands on" elements combine to provide a unique insight into your host country and a true appreciation of a world beyond your own.
Venture Type: VentureCo provide two types of venture.
Gap Year: For school leavers taking time off before University or employment. Ages 17 - 20.
Career Gap: For those taking a career break or sabatical from work or University. Age 21+

Mike Jarvis – Inca Venture 7, Amazon Jungle Aid Project
For the second phase of our South American adventure, the wiser half of Inca
Venture Group 7 chose to work in the Ecuadorian Amazon Basin (my favourite phrase!).
We were warned to expect a complete back-to-basics environment, with "muchos insectos", cold showers and smelly/mouldy clothes! So we were pleasantly surprised upon arrival to be greeted with electricity, nice cabins and an incredibly cosy hammock area.
